True Exposure (2013)
Laser prints, synthetic leather, foam.

This work examines the collective shaping of the buzz term "innovation” and how it reflects upon our visions of a shared future. By searching the term in popular online news sites, blogs, and social media platforms, the work draws from popular usages of the term in various social contexts. Once collected, the term and its cognates were replaced with a new vocabulary based around an equally vague expression, “true exposure”.

Experienced as an interactive environment of bean bag furnishings, visitors reshape and reshuffle the stacks of modified search results as they read throughout the installation.
